TRADE FAIRS S/S 2018
Pop’Hat
Pop’Hat is a new creation from Atelier Bénédicte Chapeaux. This is a foldable buntal hat with special pleats so that the hat can be adapted to fit any head size. The first show where they presented their new design was at Première Classe, where the hats attracted a lot of interest from buyers from China, Europe and New York. The entire production of Bénédicte Chapeaux’s Pop’Hat takes place in Paris. Their goal is to keep it there, as they don’t want to see the hat becoming a mass product. Making the hats themselves in their own studio also helps to guarantee the high quality they are striving for.
Last but not least
Anthony Peto gave his caps that extra touch of summer by having them made from
Ferruccio Vecchi
deckchair canvas. Big hats with texts stitched, embroidered or painted on were still popular, as well as turban caps and headbands.
