Nex:T Axio IP stageboxes are available in 1U, 2U and 4U formats

Stagetec BY KEVIN EMMOTT

German audio specialist Stagetec is unveiling a raft of new products, including a trio of compact and scalable ST 2110 infrastructure components. Enabling adaptation between formats and standards in hybrid environments, Stagetec’s Signal Converter offers IP protocol conversion and real- time signal processing. A new multiviewer delivers fl exible ST 2110 monitoring with customisable layouts and support for a range of video formats and outputs, while the IP-Gateway component enables bidirectional conversion between SDI and ST 2110 to promote smooth integration with

existing baseband infrastructures. Stagetec is also presenting Nex:T Axio, an IP stagebox series available in 1U, 2U and 4U formats with 8, 16, or 32 mic/line inputs, complemented with line outs, AES3 and GPIO. Featuring integrated DSP processing and a full internal matrix, Nex:T Axio supports Madi, Dante and ST 2110-30/31, while Ember+ and OSC provide fl exible control. Stagetec has also introduced a

reconfi gurable IP console tailored for radio, submixing and remote or streaming productions. Built around the company’s new ARM-based IP core, it delivers 256 DSP channels, 128 busses and a native ST 2110-30 matrix. It is managed through a unifi ed Stagenet GUI. 8.C45, 8.MS1

Anton/Bauer’s 2.5kWh Eden battery energy storage system, on show on the Videndum stand, can output all its capacity in an hour. For productions seeking environmentally sustainable set ups, it effectively replaces a small generator. It includes four USB-C PD ports, is equipped with either two European, UK- or US-style AC electrical sockets, and delivers a pure sine wave output to ensure no interference on set. Andrew Hutton, Head of

Products, Anton/Bauer, said: “It is IP65 rated; you can leave it out in

The system can also be used as an uninterruptible power supply, with units daisy chained together for extra power. It can be charged and discharged simultaneously, which Hutton claims is unique, “and gives it greater fl exibility”. Eden is said to be ideal for use with lighting set ups, or for pitch-side camera positions that need to be rigged and de-rigged during half time. “You can do lights, monitors and transmission, and charge your batteries, at the same time,” Hutton said. “It’s your own little personal power pack.” 13.A05

CLOUD LIGHT HAS A MULTI-COLOURED LINING Pipe Lighting BY DAVID FOX

Childs play: ColorPipe infl atable lights are simple to set up

ColorPipe infl atable lights have been given a fresh design and advanced wireless control features, to coincide with Pipe Lighting’s release of a helium- driven RGBWW multi-pixel top light.

The ColorPipeCloud 99 is a lightweight, self-fl ying soft-light designed for historic and sensitive locations where traditional rigging isn’t possible. It doesn’t require stands or trusses and offers “beautifully diffused, pixel- controlled light from above”.

The ColorPipe range, with independent pixels for multi- colour effects, now includes ColorPipe 2, 4, 6, 8, 42, 44, 63 and 84 models, promising “mobile, precise and colour- accurate lighting for dynamic shoots”, with CRMX, DMX and Bluetooth wireless control and a colour temperature range of 2100K-17000K. They pack into compact cases for easy shipping and are waterproof to 1m (IP67 rated).

The 400W unit measures 2.75x2.75m. There are also two higher-power models: the

600W PipeBrick 105 (measuring 3x1.5m); and the 1600W PipeCloud 1515 (4.5x4.5m).

Also new is Pipe Go Plus, a more compact (60x70x20cm) bi-colour (2450K-6600K) model, weighing 800g, for mobile setups. 12.D70
