Compact 50W and 100W LED lights have been introduced by Zhiyun: the Cinepeer CX50 (bicolour) and CX50RG (RGB), and the X100 RGB COB light. The X100 is visually distinctive. Not only is it just 3cm thick, but it also sports a vintage-style embossed leather-like material on some of its surfaces. Its colour temperature range is 2500K-10,000K, and it can deliver up to 12,600 lux at 1m when used with a Mini Refl ector.

It can be powered via a DC adapter or a detachable grip battery. This doubles as a handle
and supports 34 minutes at full power using the 55.08Wh battery, with PD fast charging.
The ZY Vega app supports multi-light Bluetooth control, remote real-time dimming and group control of light settings. It can be used with a wide range of accessories using Zhiyun’s compact ZY Mount, or via a Bowens Mount adapter. Both 50W fi xtures have a built-in 4500mAh battery that powers the lights for up to 60 minutes at full power, with USB-C PD fast charging plus AC/DC input. The CX50 is said to deliver 6580 lux at 1m (using a refl ector at 4300K). They can be controlled onboard or using the app. 11.A26

It can be controlled via a mobile app, to set motion paths, adjust speed and quickly defi ne keyframes, including curved paths without the need for rails. It can also turn linear or multipoint paths into timelapse shots without requiring any calculations.
