GS3: Explore Anterior Single Immediate Implant Placement and Provisionalization (IIPP) in the Esthetic Zone (Live-Streaming Surgery)

2 - 4 p.m. Implant Surgery and Prosthetic Rehabilitation

Moderator: Nick Caplanis Speaker: Joseph Y. Kan

Immediate implant placement and provisionalization (IIPP) of anterior single failing tooth is a challenging and demanding procedure. Site preservation for the eventual implant restorations with harmonious gingival contour that emulate nature is a fusion of science and art. Understanding the biologic and physiologic limitations of the soft and hard tissue will facilitate predictability in simple to complex esthetic situations.

Besides a live surgical demonstration of IIPP, this session will also show bone and soft tissue grafting techniques to optimize the surgical site. In addition, current implant treatment philosophies and methodologies for IIPP with an emphasis on how to maintain the facial tissue level and contour will be discussed.

Educational Objectives:

• Consider treatment planning for esthetic IIPP. • Explore technique for IIPP.

• Evaluate methods to maintain facial tissue level and contour.

• Grasp methods for immediate provisionalization. SERIES
