Student/New Periodontist Series Dear Colleagues: On behalf of the Canadian Academy of Periodontology, I am thrilled to invite you to the 104th Annual


Meeting of the American Academy of Periodontology, in collaboration with the Japanese Academy of Clinical Periodontology and the Japanese Society of Periodontology. This is the first time that the Canadian Academy of Periodontology has teamed with its international partners, and we are honoured and delighted that this year’s meeting is being held in one of Canada’s most scenic cities, our beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. In addition to all that the city has to offer, the meeting will provide invaluable opportunities to learn, socialize, and network with dental professionals from all over the world.


Periodontology is continuously evolving with emerging concepts and innovative therapies and this year’s scientific sessions and workshops will provide all participants with an exceptional array of the highest quality of education and hands-on experiences that promise to expand scientific knowledge and support periodontal practice.
