WHAT HAVE YOUR
HIGHLIGHTS BEEN IN 2018? This year Norwegian started flights from London to Buenos Aires and this month Edelweiss Air will connect Zurich with the Argentine capital. Before the end of 2018, Los Angeles-Buenos Aires will be added by American Airlines.
HOW ARE YOU BOOSTING ECOTOURISM? We’re strengthening the Ecotourism Corridor El Litoral in the north-east of the country, which includes Iguazu Falls. There’s also Cordoba’s Mar Chiquita lagoon, which is home to thousands of three species of flamingo.
WHAT ARE THE TOP REASONS TO VISIT IN 2019? Argentina offers nature, mountains, lakes, rivers, beaches, culture and first-class cuisine, and tourists are able to enjoy it during all four seasons. Plus from June 1, Air Europa will fly directly to Iguazu Falls from Madrid in just nine hours.

HOW HAS BUSINESS BEEN IN 2018? We continue working to face the challenges of the industry and to achieve our business strategy. In 2018, we incorporated new aircraft (five A320s with neo technology and two A330-300s). Moreover, we keep strengthening our business class units so that they have a more representative percentage in our revenues.
WHAT NEW ROUTES ARE IN THE PIPELINE? The plan for the last quarter of 2018 includes Munich, Santa Cruz de la Sierra and Chicago from Bogota; Cartagena from San Salvador, and Chicago and New York from Guatemala City. We also expect one new aircraft, a Boeing 787, which will be assigned to European routes.
WHICH MARKETS WILL YOU BE TARGETING IN 2019? Our expansion plans embrace destinations that are not currently available from Bogota, for example important capitals in Europe.
