Beyond its facade, the walls guard an unrivalled heritage of more than 2,000 years of history, including the original mosaic of the founding city from Roman times, Valentia Edetanorum (second century BC), the 13th- century Moorish defensive wall, several Gothic arches and 19th-century buildings that have been preserved, restored and integrated into its spaces.
The result is 26 unique rooms, where the
architectural balance, pure lines, simple shapes and use of top-quality materials give the rooms a great visual coherence. On the ground floor in the gastronomic area, restaurant Alma del Temple houses three differently designed rooms equipped for all kinds of public events. Caro Hotel is located in the Seu-Xerea
neighbourhood, the city’s historical centre and its points of interest are no more than five minutes away on foot from the hotel entrance: the Plaza de la Virgen and the Plaza de la Reina, the Plaza Redonda, the cathedral and the Basilica de la Virgen are all a must for tourists keen on widening their horizons.
