From the rooftop with its red pool and view of the city to the secluded inner courtyard reminiscent of a Japanese garden, and from the spacious and airy rooms to the fun and versatile common areas. All of the 160 rooms have floor-to-ceiling
windows, either with a view of the street or of the Photosynthesis Courtyard and the video mapping show. Every night, the walls of the indoor garden oasis turn into a stage for a stunning video mapping show. Like the hotel as a whole, the city’s light takes centre stage. Called The Lisbon Light Show, it shows everything that the light allows us to experience. Clorofila Restaurant, which has direct access both to the
exterior and the garden, is the hotel’s casual fine-dining outlet and a privileged spot to watch the show every night while taking a bite of the Portuguese-flavoured delicacies created by chef Celso Dias. The hotel’s multi-purpose open-air indoor space benefits greatly from the circumstances of its location. It’s closely connected to nature and on a lower floor, creates a more sheltered, cosier atmosphere. The water mirrors between the flower beds
refresh the air and the imposing buttresses, which are gradually subsumed by nature as the ivy planted during construction grows, create shadow games as the light changes during the day. This 42-seat facility is perfect for a drink, a quick meal or to watch the video mapping show every day at 10pm. Lumen Hotel also has fantastic meeting rooms that adapt to any type of event — from corporate meetings to fine-dining meals served in exclusive spaces or, even, al fresco dinners which can be served on the Patio. Each event can also be customised using the video mapping software.
