Practice: Questionnaire design (2)
In Part 2 of the lecture on questionnaire design, the lecturer is discussing what researchers should do before they carry out market research using questionnaires.
4.1 Before you listen, discuss this situation in small groups.
Groups of students at a university language centre have to carry out a survey on British people’s attitudes to different aspects of life in the UK. In order to do this they have to prepare a questionnaire. Their lecturer gives them a list of things they should do and should not do in carrying out this survey.
As a group, prepare a list of dos and don’ts you think the lecturer gave the students.
4.2 CD2: 14 Listen to Part 2 and answer the following questions. Then compare your answers with your group.
