Live Week of Beauty was “Revolutionary Disruptors!” and the online event had relevant educational content and engagement forums for these disrupters that are impacting product development, the roles of cosmetic chemists, and the growth and success of the industry. Programs that took place included the
CEW Suppliers’ Award Finalists panel that discussed the novel attributes and technologies that made these ingredients and formulations stand out to the judges representing top brands. Indie 360, World of Chemistry and the
PCPC’s presentation on Safety, Regulatory Hot Topics were also popular programs. Other highlights included a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony led by NYSCC Chairman Giorgino Macalino, Executive Board and Committee Members, as well as the announcement of the winner of the CEW Supplier’s: Ingredients & Formulation Award. Cosmetic Chemist” was also presented during the Week of Beauty and provided the building blocks for a solid career as a cosmetic chemist including “Talent Acquisition;” “Trends & Research – Tools to Success,” and “Discovery & Compliance.” The NYSCC Main Stage Video Bites
featured exhibitors talking about their ingredients, solutions and innovations – highlighting their achievements of 2020. An important component and
