Trading is less visible to players, but it has a huge impact on sportsbook performance. Odds, risk, bet acceptance, player segmentation, data quality, limits, and settlement affect margins. Running those functions well requires people, technology, models, and reliable data around the clock.
Many operators already have a sportsbook platform they’re happy with. Tey don’t want to replace their frontend, wallet, PAM, or brand experience. But they may still want better pricing, stronger risk management, or more trading expertise.
Tat is why we launched Managed Trading Services. MTS takes the trading capabilities we already use within GR8_TECH and makes them available to operators that want to keep their existing sportsbook technology.
It combines our sports feed, proprietary odds engine, mathematical models, trading team, and risk management tools. It also supports bet- level communication, player segmentation, real-time bet scoring, dynamic restrictions, and full bet life-cycle management.
Not every operator needs a new sportsbook platform. Many already have the core technology they want to keep. What they need is better trading intelligence behind it. MTS lets them add that layer without rebuilding the rest of their operation.
MTS also gives operators another way to think about cost. Building and maintaining a large 24/7 trading operation is expensive. So is relying on multiple data providers. Cheaper scraped feeds bring their own problems, from latency to settlement errors and weak pricing. Tere should be another option.
A MORE FLEXIBLE APPROACH TO PAYMENTS
Payments can create the same kind of dependency. Traditional setups often involve PSP approvals, merchant accounts, banking relationships, and local integrations. Each extra layer can slow down a launch or make expansion into a new market harder. GOOD TECHNOLOGY GIVES OPERATORS ROOM TO MAKE CHOICES
For me, this is one of the most important tests of a B2B platform. Does the technology give the operator more choices, or fewer?
A fast frontend is useful. But it’s much more useful if the operator can still customise it.
Advanced trading is useful. But it’s much more useful if the operator doesn’t have to replace an entire sportsbook to access it.
Te same principle applies elsewhere. Operators need to enter new markets, change products, manage costs, respond to players, and adjust their strategy. Teir technology should make those decisions easier, not dictate what they can and cannot do.
Tis is also why we are bringing the Champions Arena to SBC Summit this year.
Te championship theme is easy to understand in sports, but for us it has a practical meaning. Strong operators need good technology, good people, and the ability to make decisions quickly. Tey need infrastructure that supports how they want to compete.
