Different configurations are needed to serve all our customers around the globe. We are successfully installing our ETGs in smaller sized arcades, all the way up to some of the largest global casino operators, and really everything in between.

Goran, what unique assets do ETGs bring to the casino floor?


ETGs cover a specific market segment within any casino gaming floor that requires appropriate attention. Te uniqueness varies depending on the country, casino type, player type, legislation, innovation and how well the customers are being guided. Tis defines what an optimal setup for every specific casino floor is.


However, the benefit that we see having the most impact is the fact that ETGs attract an interesting segment of players, who like to place more frequent, yet lower bets in an environment where a croupier is not present. Also, privacy of the game can be an issue and ETGs offer an elegant solution.


Te game is faster and sometimes players can set the pace of the game for themselves. With ETGs the floor also gains considerable excitement with jackpots and game features that are not accessible with traditional live table games.


And at the same time, a significant cost cut can be achieved by partially automising live table games. All in all, we always strive to work together with our clients and match their requirements and ideas with our experience and market knowledge. Tis usually results in an optimal setup needed to secure optimal GGR.


ETGs are expensive. What factors influence operators to upgrade? Are they typically seeking a better ROI? Do ETGs have a life span?


ETGs are not expensive considering all that an operator gets in return. I would say that flexibility, current offering, and the need for innovation are encouraging operators to upgrade. Tey also strive for a fast ROI, and cost cuts in combination with additional play time can provide it.


With upgradable ETGs with a life span of five-10 years that can be re-used in different types of setups, save costs, and do a relatively high daily GGR, this is especially prominent.


Why are there multiple configurations for every model? What role do these configurations have in spacing out casino floors of different shapes and sizes?


We simply must be able to cover customers that seek compact solutions (in some cases limited in space) in every configuration and (larger sized) arena setups. A great advantage is that we have two types of cabinets – Karma and Aura - and we believe they offer everything a customer may desire.


How do you establish the level of demand for each configuration? What does the market research involve?


It is a must to be able to offer any kind of configuration to different types of customers and the global markets we are currently active in. Moreover, our products are fully modular and therefore provide the flexibility for any operator to change, adjust or upgrade, should this be necessary in the future.


All our products are built based on years of research with a great focus on ergonomics and comfort for the player. Te configuration or setup is defined by our customers based on their floor space, player demand, the need for innovation and new games or features.


How varied a configuration selection do operators tend to go for? For instance, do they tend to bulk buy two varieties or opt for less across a wider range?


Tis again varies by country and customer. It also depends on legislation and what is allowed. For example, in some street markets like Belgium or the Netherlands it is not allowed to have more than one game (roulette) on ETGs.


Recently, in the largest casino in Germany (Merkur Spielbanken in Monheim), we included seven games: three Live Roulettes, two Automated roulettes, a Live Blackjack and a Virtual (Video) Blackjack. In the USA, all our Roulette setups are multigame, which means that they include Blackjack and Baccarat. We also include Blackjack on our Craps machines. In Asia, on the other hand, Baccarat and Sic-bo are just as popular as Roulette.


What we do notice is that going overboard with the number of games usually isn’t the best solution. In addition to the games themselves, there are also various technology preferences. For example, in the UK players prefer to play on dealer assist tables, in Australia they like to play virtual games, in Spain they play a combination of virtual and automated games, and in other markets, mostly fully automated games.


Tis is just a small illustration of the differences between markets that we try to accommodate for, offering players the best possible ETG experience. It is therefore very important to work closely with the operator to define an
