Arlington, VA — Cities of the near future are expected to be deeply con- nected ecosystems, making use of such technologies as 5G connectivity. “Smart Cities” at CES 2018 will show- case a dedicated exhibit area and a multi-day conference program. Pre sented by the Consumer Tech -
nology Association (CTA) and Deloitte, programs will include representatives from Bosch, Ford, Nissan, Qualcomm, and others. Presentations will high- light what is next for smart cities in the areas of transportation, energy management, public safety, health care, data analytics and security, arti- ficial intelligence (AI), and gover- nance. CES 2018 is to be held from January 9-12, 2018, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. “With global spending on smart
