Amery, WI — Dynatronix has intro- duced a series of compact, high-per- formance DC power supplies. The DTX 2400 series includes models with outputs of 0 to 24V at 0 to 100A and 0 to 100V at 0 to 24A. Output is limited to a maximum of 2,400W DC. Five different DTX models are
available. Typical applications in - clude electroplating, electro-polish- ing, anodizing, waste water treat- ment, and cathodic protection. Using state-of-the-art FPGA
PDI Enables Real-Time Data Center Monitoring
Richmond, VA — Power Distribution, Inc. (PDI) has launched its new WaveStar® Infinity monitoring sys- tem. The WaveStar Infinity provides data center managers with an advanced power distribution equip- ment monitoring and metering solu- tion to enable prompt and accurate decisions based on real-time energy management information. PDI’s new offering provides
end-to-end power reliability by com- bining real-time data collection, advanced visualization and detailed alarming with revenue-grade meter- ing accuracy. The accuracy of the sys- tem is designed to meet the require- ments for a wide range of targeted applications, including fault detec- tion and colocation tenant billing. In order to avoid downtime,
data center managers need instant access to a facility’s power and equip- ment status at all times. For this rea- son, the company designed WaveStar Infinity with real-time sensing, measuring, collecting, calculating, reporting, and alarming for data cen- ter power distribution equipment. Managers can instantly extract per- formance metrics on their desktop or mobile devices.
controls for increased flexibility, reli- ability and control, the DTX series offers many user-friendly features. These include: menu-driven 4.3 in. (10.9 cm) full-color display, ampere time totalizer, ampere time, real time and manual cycle control options, visual tolerance alarms, fault detection, and Ethernet/IP or analog communications. With universal input, the DTX
2400 series operates on 100 to 240V, 47 to 63 Hz single-phase AC input. The FPGA controller automatically detects the incoming power levels and optimizes the power supply to gain the most efficiency. Power factor is 0.99 minimum for full-load opera- tion. Ripple is less than 1 percent
rms of peak rated output. When con- nected to 120 VAC, maximum output of the DTX 2400 is limited to 1,200W.
The power supply package
measures 3.4 x 8.5 x 18 in. (8.6 x 21.6 x 45.7 cm), excluding connections on the rear of the unit. The enclosure is made of pow-
der-coated aluminum and environ- mentally sealed to protect the critical electronics from the environment. Sealed output and communications connections on the rear of the DTX add to its durability. Each DTX power supply weighs only 11 lb (5 kg). The DTX 2400 series carries
ETL, CE and CSA certifications. Contact: Dynatronix, Inc., 462
