Transition Automation Introduces Large-Area Benchtop Printer
Tyngsboro, MA — Transition Automation has launched its PrinTEK AP-3624-V benchtop, large- area stencil printer. The new PrinTEK AP-3624-V has a 32 x 24 in. (81 x 61 cm) print area, a load/un- load/reload repeatability of better than ±1 mil (25.5 µ), and can be equipped with a with a vision option for a high-precision setup. The printer itself weighs less than 500 lbs (226 kg), due to the use of light- weight composite materials in its design. Like previous PrinTEK systems, the new AP-
3624-V gives users full control of the printing process for solder paste and other electronic materi- als. The most notable feature of this new printer is the utilization of composite materials and unique framework to minimize weight and maximize stiffness. The materials and framework
give the machine precision motion with nearly zero backlash and maxi- mum printing quality with ease of use. The design enables users to ramp up volumes of high-mix, large assemblies, while maintaining tight printing accuracies. The printer is 4 x 3.3 ft (1.2 x
