that the circuit’s output correspond to the sequence used to prepare the state, sampled the quantum circuit a million times in just a few minutes, exploring all possibilities — before the system could lose its quantum coherence. While the experiment was cho- sen as a proof-of-concept for the com-
puter, the research has resulted in a very real and valuable tool — a certi- fied random number generator. Use- ful in a variety of fields, random numbers can ensure that encrypted keys can not be guessed, or that a sample from a larger population is truly representative, leading to opti- mal solutions for complex problems and more robust machine learning applications. The speed with which the quan-

decided to purchase equipment from MIRTEC and Hanwha due to their technology and service. “MIRTEC’s technology has given EMSG the abili- ty to inspect all of our circuit board as- semblies at the utmost quality, giving us confidence in all the circuit board assemblies leaving our facility,” he says. “Hanwha’s technology has given us the ability to assemble any circuit board technology all in one machine. Hanwha also has provided us with a solution to build circuit boards up to 48 inches in size. This new system is capable of looking at components and solder joints in 3D, giving our inspectors even more precision in looking at our circuit boards. This system is capable of mapping a board for inspection us- ing the Gerber files we use to create the board. This will cut programming time in half and allow us to inspect a greater quantity of circuit boards,” Hamp explains. “We had already
purchased a Hanwha Techwin ESE model LX3 large-format printer in 2017, but we needed to add another to keep up with demand for circuit boards in excess of the standard 24 inches that most printers handle. This will continue to help EMSG be the industry leader in continuous four-foot circuit boards.” MIRTEC provides customers
