Europlacer Installs Second High-Speed Line at SafeLine

Poole, Dorset, UK — Europlacer has installed a second pick-and-place line comprising an iineo+ and xpii+ pick-and-place machines with a Heller reflow oven at SafeLine in Tyresö, Sweden. The line offers a package of upgrades to increase capac- ity and throughput to meet rising demand for the company’s elevator safety systems across Scandi- navia and Europe. SafeLine produces high-end electronics for

the elevator industry, such as emergency tele- phones, floor displays, announcers, monitoring de- vices, and controllers, at its Tyresö factory, using two surface mount production lines. The company upgraded its primary line two

years ago, installing its first iineo+ and xpii+ placement platforms. The machines’ strong performance eased the latest decision to invest in another twin- turret iineo+ II with a Heller oven downstream to modernize the second line as sales of SafeLine equipment have continued to grow.
