series is from –13 to +185°F (–25 to +85°C), with the EDC series offering –13 to +158°F (–25 to +70°C). Three case configurations are available for horizontal, vertical and radial-lead PCB mounting. EDC and EDS series

quick-response and recharge times, these devices offer higher power than batteries and greater energy than typical aluminum electrolytic capaci- tors without degradation over mil- lions of charge-discharge cycles. Both series offer values from
0.047 to 1.5F capacity, at voltages up to 6.3 WVDC for the EDC series; and 5.5 WVDC for the EDS series. Operating temperature for the EDS
capacitors are ready to board mount in such appli- cations as real-time clock (RTC) backup, power fail- ure backup, battery assist and in market segments such as smart metering, HVAC controls, building automation, communica- tion systems, appliances, instruments, and other mi c roprocessor -based devices. Because of their high volumetric power
density, they can be an effective way to reduce board size and weight. Either series can be used as a drop-in replacement for similar value capaci- tors recently discontinued by other
manufacturers. Contact: Cornell Dubilier

Elgin, IL — The HARTING Technol - ogy Group, together with its part- ners, is presenting solutions for the future of electromobility (e-mobility). These include the KUKA automated charging assistant. The charging assistant inserts a HARTING charg- ing plug into the socket of a vehicle, guided by a sensor and stops the charging process as soon as the bat- tery in the drive has reached the required level. The intuitively operated Innogy
charging station is networked, secure and reliable. HARTING is a direct supplier
for BMW and the
Volkswagen Group. The company supplies country-specific charging cables for the AC and DC voltage range for the Porsche Taycan. In addition, the company works with almost all automakers around the world. In two production plants in Sibiu, Romania, and in a plant in the neighboring town of Agnita, HART- ING primarily manufactures electri- cal and electronic industrial connec- tors, Mode 2 and Mode 3 charging cables for e-vehicles and charging stations, actuators for various appli- cations in vehicles, and communica- tions and hybrid connectors.
