Bridgeville, PA — METCASE has launched a new version of its COMBIMET 19 in. (483 mm) rack cases. It has a wraparound, aesthetic top, and offers easier access to components. COMBIMET is METCASE’s bestselling 19 in. aluminum enclo- sure. Applications include networking, communi- cations, industrial computers, sound and studio, laboratory instruments, and industrial control. The new version’s U-shaped top reduces the
number of case parts and eliminates the need for visible top screws. The new design combines the versatility of COMBIMET with the aesthetics of METCASE’s VERSAMET rack cases. Features include ergonomic front handles and earth connec- tion points on all panels. New solid top COMBIMET 19 in. (483 mm) is
supplied unvented as standard, fully-assembled and in a choice of two colors — light gray (RAL 7035) and black (RAL 9005). It is currently avail-

Reliable test solutions require the best products
CERAMICSPEED bearing units. CERAMICSPEED bearing units
handle higher loads with less friction, resulting in longer life of the balls. Balls made from silicon nitride do not change their shape under load and are not subject to spalling which can con- taminate the foods or beverages being processed. They are also very tolerant of temperature extremes and thermal shock.
CERAMICSPEED bearing units
have also been designed with rounded surfaces and are then covered with polyurethane to create a smooth, impenetrable surface where debris, bacteria, water, and other liquids can- not collect. Available in standard styles and sizes, these low-maintenance bear- ings are shipped lubricated with an FDA-approved grease or with a propri-
etary SLT lubricant. Contact: LM76, 140 Industrial
