TO ADVERTISE IN OUR LAB ESSENTIAL WEBSITES SECTION, PLEASE CONTACT: SALES@INTLABMATE.COM Energy Efficient Front Loading Autoclaves Lower Running Costs

Horizontal cylindrical chamber autoclaves manufactured by Priorclave are among the most energy efficient laboratory autoclaves currently available. Such is their potential for savings on energy and water usage the Priorclave QCS range of laboratory and research autoclaves are much in demand across diverse industrial sectors as well as numerous research and educational.

The QCS100 litre energy-efficient laboratory and research grade autoclave is smallest is the range offering capacities from 100 to 200 litres available as standard or with vacuum options as well as a choice of steam-generation systems. Each features 500mm diameter chamber, believed to be largest currently available for this style of autoclave. It makes them ideally suited for laboratories looking specifically for an autoclave with a heavy load capacity but have limited available lab floor space.

With a low loading height, wide door swing allowing easy loading of heavy loads from a trolley, advanced programming for simple to more complex sterilising tasks, effective use of power and water plus superb operator safety standards the QCS front-loading steriliser range is one of the safest and most efficient autoclaves available.

Precise control of the sterilising process is made easy using single push-buttons on the Tactrol® microprocessor controller. This advanced unit allows easy

adjustment of sterilising temperature and time for simple cycles to fully featured multi-programme operation and with printed records. The powerful microprocessor controller gives unrivalled flexibility and monitoring, automating the sterilising process and with features to assist in autoclave management, the powerful TACTROL® undertaken secure in the knowledge that sterilisation is proceeding safely and efficiently. In addition to guiding laboratory personnel through the simple programming, the intuitive Tactrol® keeps a log of the sterilising cycle data such as temperature, pressure and time.

enables other tasks to be microprocessor also

These sterilisers are packed with safety features that include a single-handed, door opening mechanism that only releases when temperatures and pressures are at pre-set safe levels. There is also a secure key- lock switch which governs access to parameter settings. To help prevent cross contamination in a laboratory all QCS front loading autoclave incorporates epoxy coated panels and frame members treated with an antimicrobial agent that is effective against many bacteria and fungi.

Benchtop platform shakers from Wiggens feature advanced dual-shaking of flasks up to a maximum capacity of 6L. They perform both orbital and reciprocating action and the variable-speed control provides gentle to vigorous agitation. Many user-friendly operating and safety features for reliable shaking of lab glassware are offered: the variable speed control from 10-300 rpm; TFT digital display and on-touch control; adjustable amplitude from 20, 30 and 40mm.

The system is ideal for round, erlenmeyer and culture flasks as well as bottles. The Wiggens sticky plate can be loaded with any kind of vessel with a smooth base. Even at a speed of up to 300 rpm the vessel sticks to the plate. Other vessels, for example microtitre plates, can be shaken up to a speed of 220 rpm on the Wiggens sticky plate as well. Perfect for biological and microbiological growth tests and for production of stock solutions, the shakers provide continuous operation even under extreme loads.

A wide range of trays, clamps and accessories to fix different vessels are available from Wiggens. More information online: ilmt.co/PL/DZ2v
