The MGC also eliminates the need to frequently calibrate portable gas detectors. It can go 6 months without being calibrated. The MGC Dock allows you to test or calibrate 4 units at once - saving time and increasing efficiency.
LEL sensor is poison immune.
The IR sensor is immune to typical pellistor sensor poisons such as H2S or silicones which will significantly reduce field maintenance costs. It does not require oxygen to “oxidize” the combustible gas to detect it. Therefore, it will operate in inert environments.
