A Talking Dog On Netflix
The new television series, The Healing Powers of Dude, features an emotional support dog who talks to Noah, his human, an 11-year-old boy with social anxi- ety disorder. Dude (voiced by Steve Zahn from Diary of a Wimpy Kid and That Thing You Do!) is described as a sarcastic mutt. Dude may need Noah (played by Jace Chapman) just as much as Noah needs him. Billed as a comedy, the series also touches on very real things, like how Noah’s social anxiety can make everyday activities feel like being submerged in quicksand.
