Summer/Fall Cover Artwork I just have to say the cover of the latest edition is the best! Hard to believe it is a painting and not a photo. Also, I keep it out on the coffee table because Lucy is the happiest dog ever! I look at her and can see the tail wagging in happiness to match her smile. I may have to rip that cover off and find a frame. I just love it!! A good scratch for Dougie
(the Scottie) and a whisper that I love him. Lois Lamb, Scottish Terrier Lover Hernando
In-The-Know People ask me all the time, “How do you know so much about local animal events and stores?” I always tell them from The New Barker! I have so many pages tabbed and circles throughout the whole magazine. The New Barker has been a staple on my coffee table and in my heart for many years. Anyone who knows me, knows that I eat, sleep and dream dog. I absolutely love your magazine. Denise Ariale Safety Harbor
You Cannot Do A Kindness Too Soon I picked up a copy of The New Barker magazine at Brandon Honda. The folks at the dealership were very nice. They enjoyed meeting Sport and I in person. We also made special visits to the nursing home and the Hospice House. I may need to teach Sport how to sign his name so he can give out autographs. You did a wonderful job telling our story. I loved the
Ralph Waldo Emerson quote you used for the headline as it fit the story perfectly. The photos were great. Many thanks to Laura (Laura Allen Studios). You are a talented team. Linda Hunter and Sport the Therapy Dog Plant City
Health Starts In The Gut So, I decided to buy a bag of Bernie’s Perfect Poop Digestive Support Supplement because of The New Barker’s recommenda- tion. Nothing had previously helped poor Charlie Goodboy. He’s been on this stuff for three weeks and we are seeing improvement. I spoke to the people at Bernie’s and they believe the Miscanthus Grass is the secret ingredient for success. Whatever it is, Bernie’s Perfect Poop (
PerfectPoop.dog) is worth a try. Charlie Goodboy’s Human

Thank You For Noticing I am in love with The New Barker. Amazing. And, yes I’m biased because I read The New Yorker. Brilliant. Thank you for joining us during our doggie party social, the Pop-Up Halloween Paw-ty at Fairchild. Kelley Ramer Director of Event Design & Sponsorships Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden Coral Gables
Spoiling The Granddog The dog in the picture is Tina. She is our son’s new Golden Retriever, which I guess, makes her our Granddog. She lives in North Carolina with her parents, but will be a frequent visitor to Florida. My wife, Debbie (Tina’s human grandma) is going up to Raleigh to visit. My son and his wife are under the impression that she’s coming to visit them. But we know the REAL truth don’t we? SPOILER ALERT: Tina
will be spoiled by my wife the whole weekend! Love your magazine. Thank you for providing dog owners a fun read. Mark S. Hampton, M.S. Tampa Bay Area
