Quality refurb complete
New HR service to
help local SMEs Human resources expert Erica Burke has launched The HR Dept Solihull, to support local small to medium enterprises (SMEs). The HR Dept Solihull is part of the wider
HR Dept organisation, a network of 75 franchisees providing services in 112 territories in the UK, Ireland and Australia. Former Lode Heath School governor Erica
IM Properties (IMP) has completed a £5m refurbishment of the largest stand-alone top quality office building currently available in the M42 corridor. The 53,882 sq ft, 1 Blythe Gate at Blythe Valley
Park (BVP), is rated as a ‘best in class headquarters’ building, according to letting agent Savills. The building is near junction 4, M42, and
occupies a prominent position on the park. Rob Hemus, asset director at IM Properties said:
“At BVP we have some of region’s most forward thinking companies including Gymshark and
Cooper Parry who understand that to attract and retain talent, you need to create and maintain a working environment which appeals to employees and stimulates innovation and productivity. “1 Blythe Gate makes the most of the opportunity to connect with the surrounding 122 acres of parkland, with cycle facilities and changing rooms for those keen to experience BVP’s network of walkways and cycle paths. “A key focus of this project from day one has
been the creation of a quality outside space, which provides room for outside breakout areas, client entertaining and agile working.”
said: “Setting up The HR Dept is the perfect thing to do at this point in my career – I can run my own business, with an established structure, working closely with business owners in the area I call home. “Although I’ve not run my own business in
this way before, I have spent many years being part of corporate leadership teams, working alongside very senior people who are running medium and large commercial organisations. So I’m aware of all the aspects
that go into running a business.” The HR Dept Solihull will cover an area
from Castle Bromwich in the north of the borough to Hockley Heath in the south.
