Fourth Wednesday Club: meets again on Wednesday October 23rd. This popular and friendly social club is open to all ‘Senior Citizens’ over 60 from 11.30 - 16.30; it starts with coffee, and continues with a simple hot lunch around 12.30.The ‘sub’ of £2.50 includes coffee, lunch and entertainment, and a raffle. There are also plants and previously-owned books for sale and the money raised is distributed to local charities.


St Helen’s Harvest Meal:The Harvest Meal scheduled for October 6th has been cancelled due to staffing problems: all the usual suspects are away that weekend! Next year, perhaps ...


Rooms available: St Helen’s has rooms available for small bona fide meetings and gatherings of up to 20 people; several organisations meet here on a regular basis. Facilities for preparing light meals and hot drinks are available (bring your own refreshments). Centrally situated with excellent car parking. Our weekly Community Café on a Thursday 10.30-12.00, is a great opportunity to meet up with friends over a coffee and slice of homemade cake. It’s free – all we ask for is a small donation towards the costs. All are welcome!
