The Joint Friends of Barton House Railway and Wroxham Signal Box are looking for more people to support these unique attractions and therefore secure their future. You will need to sign up as a friend by completing an application form. If you do this on a running day, you would be entitled to a £5 discount for the first year. Alternately look on our website, or e-mail/phone enquiries.
Your help on running days, special events, junior club days or general maintenance would be most welcomed and training can be given where necessary.

Mon 19th Aug we had another working party, continuing work on the New Museum Line
and replacing sleepers on The Service Line. It is really amazing how much can be accomplished by so few helpers, but we still need more volunteers. Sat 24th
Day, when everyone could have a go at driving a train, guard duty and signalling. There were also rides on a train, and light refreshments. We were delighted to sign up 1 new member, plus 2 parents who offered to help on Club Days. The next Junior Day is on the 19th
Augwas Junior Club Day with 8 children and 10 adults attending. It was an Activity Oct
11-1. Which will be the last one until next year, so if you are interested come along and see what it is all about. You will be most welcome. Thurs 29th
Aug Rail Trail made their annual visit starting with a look around Wroxham
Signal Box, before boarding our ferry boat to the railway, where they were able to visit the museum, signal box and have a wander around the grounds, plus rides on a steam hauled train. They then enjoyed a buffet meal. Dates for your diary 15th
