BRIDGE DELIVERY We should like to thank Pat and Roy for all their loyal support with delivery of The Bridge magazine in Stalham Road Hoveton for very many years.
IRIS WHITE would like to thank everyone for their help and donations at their Coffee Morning. £600 was raised for the Priscilla Bacon Rebuilding Fund.
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE DAYS In September and October the County Council run a series of free, weekend-long events at seven main plus recycling centres where householders can dispose of their left over household chemicals and paint. The local Household Hazardous Waste Days at Mayton Wood, Little Hautbois, Coltishall, took place on Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd September, not Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th September, as advertised in September’s issue of The Bridge. The Editor sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused due to this error.
WROXHAM HOVETON & BELAUGH VOLUNTARY COMMUNITY CARE TRANSPORT We should like to apologise that due to technical problems our phone line was recently unavailable for 10 days. I don’t know how many calls we missed but we’re back now. May we say a big Thank You to the Lions for their donation of a wheelchair, it was lovely of them and will be a great help in in the future for both our drivers and customers.We would also like to give our heartfelt thanks to Platten Pest Control Ltd. for their very kind purchase and donation of a wheelchair. The team as a whole were quite overwhelmed by their generosity, as this is a tremendous help to our volunteers.
