We would all like to wish one of Wroxham’s oldest and best-loved residents a Very Happy Birthday
ST MARY’S CHRISTMAS CRAFT MARKET December 1 - inside St Mary’s Church 11 am until 4.30 pm
A new Christmas venture from St Mary’s , a Craft Market inside the church, bringing together more than a dozen craft stalls as well as some familiar favourites like home made cakes and produce and Christmas gifts. December 1 is Advent Sunday and after the traditional 9.30 service to welcome the start of Advent - the church will be transformed into a craft market featuring a great variety of stalls. There will be embroidery, rag rugs and a demonstration of how to make them, stained glass work, paintings, textiles including bags and cushions, felt work, wooden gifts - and much, much more. The bell tower will be open for anyone who would like to try their hand at ringing and there will be refreshments, including lunches, served throughout the day. It promises to be a wonderful event so please make a note in your diary and come along with your friends. Entrance is FREE. All proceeds to St Mary’s church funds.
MAKE YOUR OWN CHRISTMAS WREATH November 28, Wroxham Church Hall A fun evening is promised as, under expert tuition, you can make your own Christmas wreath for your door. All the component parts you will need, including greenery, ribbons and the bare bones of the wreath itself will be provided - all you have to do is follow instructions to make your very own special decoration. Times and amount payable to follow in next month’s magazine - spaces are limited so make sure you secure your place as soon as you can.
