Our sincere sympathy to Kevin & Kristen (Lady Houdini) Ridgeway
January 12, 2019—Kevin Ridgeway Today is the two year anniversary of our wreck. Today
was supposed to be a celebration of being alive. A cele- bration of surviving a wreck that should have taken my life. A celebration of not just still being here, but of thriving. But a celebration seems very selfish now that a family member has been lost. A family member that has been taken in the same manner that tried to take me. It would seem selfish to celebrate life when Officer
Clayton Townsend is no longer here. When a wife is now a widow, and a son is now fatherless. Today is no
celebration...today is a wake up call to everyone that still texts while driving. This is Officer Clayton Town-
lanes of traffic at full speed and hit Clayton. He leaves behind his wife Deanna and a 10 month old son Brixton. DON’T let this happen to you. Make a commitment to

BOB JOHNSON RETIRES OABA President, Bob Johnson,
announced to the OABA Board and staff that he plans to retire in February 2019, after having served this trade association ex- ceptionally well for almost 25 years.
While Bob and his wife Alex are
looking forward to visiting with family on the West Coast, travel- ing and pursuing their retirement dreams, Bob will not completely “sail off into the sunset,” as he is passionate about the great fami- lies that comprise Fairs and the amusement industry where he has worked for 41 years. We wish you both many happy years in retirement!
