Florida Fair News - Surprising Martha Leverock
Florida Federation of Fairs mem- bers attending the IAFE Conven- tion gathered together to sur- prise Martha and wish her well in retirement.
JACKSONVILLE, FL The Board of Directors of the Greater Jacksonville Fair Association announce that
CEO/President Martha Leverock has retired effective December 31, 2018. Ms Leverock has been employed with the Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair for over 40 years, with the last 13 as the CEO/President. An active participant in the Florida Federation of Fairs organization, Martha served
as President in 1997, member of the Board of Directors and chairperson of many com- mittees for many years. In 2003 Martha received her Certified Fair Executive distinc- tion through the International Association of Fairs and Expositions. Martha was named to the prestigious Florida Federation of Fairs Hall of Fame in 2008. Upon retirement Ms Leverock is being retained as a consultant starting in 2019. Mar-
tha is a mother of two sons, Robert the Director of Finance for the Gator Bowl Associ- ation and Michael David, an FBI agent living in Miami. She is also Noni to Jacob and Mackenzie.
