Juvenile Fe 13 On Sunday the 29th

the

Fe13 had an early start traveling by bus to Dublin to take on Na Fianna in

a challenge game before they made their way to Croke Park to watch the Cork limerick semi final. Na Fianna who are based in Glasnevin kindly left us use their parking facilities which is a fifteen minute walk from Croke Park. The hosts put out an ex-

ceptional strong team and were well up for the chal- lenge. The conditions were wet and slippery making it difficult for our forwards we were behind at halftime on a score line of 3-04 to 3-05. The magpies came out fighting in the second half and the full

line all scored ending in a four point win for the mag- pies. This was a great game of hurling and hopefully this experience will stand to our lads. A huge thanks to Na Fianna club who were very accommodating on the day and hopefully our connection to this club

will continue in years to come. Many thanks to all the

mentors and parents whom travelled with the lads. Un- fortunately the

game in

Croker did not give us the result we were looking for but the bus journey home and the world record num- ber of McDonald’s quar-

ter pounders eaten by our lads seem to ease the pain of the loss in Croke Park. A great day out had by all. We return to training this week on Wednesday evening and also Saturday morning looking forward to seeing all the lads back. Panel Tiernan O’ Con- nell, Rory Lester, Zach
