CLAIRE WILTSHER & JACK FRAME JOINT SHOW AT DART GALLERY


art Gallery is once again bringing together the work of these two celebrated and much sought-after artists for a joint show of their unique work.


Claire Wiltsher is an award-winning artist who was recently was a finalist for the Cork street Open and shortlisted for the Gemini prize from a worldwide field of over 750 artists. Her impressionistic work rejects the need for total recognition, resulting in dream-like paintings full of atmosphere and feeling. For this joint show Claire’s collection divides between coastal paintings capturing the craggy beauty of the south west coast and moorland work responding to the high tors and deep woodland. both veins of Claire’s work adeptly bring the ethereal beauty of the british landscape alive. Jack Frame came to prominence with a sell-out graduation show


from Glasgow school of Art in 2007. since then his reputation has gone from strength to strength. A quirky, experimental artist, Jack produces work which enthrals and astounds in equal measure. best known for his arboreal paintings, Jack’s use of metallic surfaces has a become a signature which those in the know instantly recognise. Clever use of gold or silver leaf coupled with traditional oil painting results in works which blaze with light or brood with atmosphere, either way making an unforgettable statement in any home. Over 50 new paintings will feature in this wonderful show.
