Summer Serenade Saturday, 12th August / 7:30pm The ever-popular husband and wife duo return to present a programme of piano duets and solos, including: Chopin’s “ballade no 4”, Tchaikovsky’s “The seasons”, and “Hungarian Dances” by brahms. We are also pleased to include a newly commissioned work “Three Caprices” for piano duet by phil Watson, a local composer of fabulous melodies and original textures.
Jazz Club Friday, 18th August 7:30pm
Join our House Band, the Martin Dale Quartet, for this cabaret style, laid back social. Each season at Jazz Club, we feature a different guest - and this summer we are delighted to welcome Derek Nash, who is at the forefront of the British Jazz movement.
Duo Palatino Friday, 15th September / 5:30pm (sophie Kidwell and David Cotter) met whilst studying music at Durham university, and look forward to performing an exciting programme of baroque, Classical, Jazz, popular, and spanish pieces as part of The Flavel Young Artists platform.
BRNC Big Band: Swing Britannia Saturday, 16th September / 7:30pm The big band evokes all the sounds of the fabulous ‘swing era’ and is made up of many local talented musicians, some of which travel from the four corners of the south West to perform, ‘they only come ‘cause they don’t want to miss out’, so why should you?

Under The Sea! - 25th Aug From the moment your child walks through the door they will be making new friends, enjoying fun educational activities and quite literally learning how to “make A scene”. As&DT make a scene camps are the perfect way for your child to spend fun filled days learning new skills, making new friends and discover- ing hidden talents. make a scene camps are tailored to be a day and are excellent for self-expression, commu- nicative development and self-esteem building. This day camp has been tailor made with scenes, songs and dances all with the theme of a going under the sea. The day will be filled with learning, laughter and music. Camps are limited to 20 children (aged 5-11) so early booking is essential. prices: £45 per child, £80 for two siblings.
