SUPERYACHTS AND SUPERCARS IN DARTMOUTH
I
f you’ve travelled from Kingswear to Dartmouth via the Lower Ferry or Passenger Ferry, it can’t have escaped your notice that the quality of cars parked in the Darthav- en Quay car park has taken a dramatic turn for the better over the summer months. Similarly, the streets of Dart- mouth have frequently been graced with the presence of supercars such as McLarens, Ferraris, Porsches etc. This is a consequence of the pop-up Summer Showcase jointly launched by Sunseeker Torquay & HR OWEN Ecu- rie allowing buyers access to a wide selection of the most desirable cars and boats in the UK from across the H.R. Owen and Sunseeker groups.
The venture is located in plush offices on the ground floor of the new Royal Dart development just by the ferry slip. It’s open seven days a week at least until the end of September.
Having already worked with Sunseeker Torquay for a number of years, Ecurie brand director Craig Davison agreed the partnership to take the very best cars to a new and relevant audience.
Davison said: “HR Owen continually seek to innovate the market and make the buying experience as pleasurable and simple as possible. Darthaven Marina is playing host to a number of yacht owners this summer, many of whom will also own a selection of luxury cars, or will have a strong interest in purchasing one. “Both Sunseeker Torquay & HR Owen are renowned for their uncompromising approach to customer care and continually strive to offer clients the very best levels of service.

Sunseeker Torquay have been based at Torquay Marina for over 6 years, part of the wider network of 33 Sun- seeker London Group offices, spread far and wide, from Mayfair to Monaco, Italy and Croatia. They offer sales and support for both new and used Sunseeker’s, as well as general yacht brokerage.
HR Owen Ecurie is based permanently in Cheltenham and is the first specialist pre-owned multi-franchised dealership in the company’s history. Ecurie is not tied to any one manufacturer, so gives customers the choice of the finest examples of the likes of McLaren, Porsche, Koenigsegg and Pagani, as well as the franchised brands within the HR Owen portfolio, such as Aston Martin, Bent- ley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce and BAC.
we are ideally located to offer H.R. Owen service with the convenience of not having to travel to a dealership. We are enjoying meeting customers old and new in such a perfect and relaxed environment.”
The Summer Showcase is looking forward to greeting customers during Regatta – the quay is likely to be popu- lated by a mouth-watering display of desirable motorcars and it is hoped that a Sunseeker yacht will also make an appearance. The Showcase will likely prove another great attraction during the week.
