broadcast in the US and most major markets worldwide. The series and brand includes a bestselling trading card game, animated series and motion picture releases.

Famosa and Hasbro have signed an international licence agreement by which the Spanish toy company will produce and distribute plush product from a variety of Hasbro brands including My Little Pony, Mr. Potato Head and Transformers. My Little Pony plush will be launched in the European market during the
fi rst quarter of 2014. The ‘My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic’ animated series is produced by Hasbro Studios and is currently airing on the Hub Network in the United States and can be seen globally in over 170 countries. The range will include Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Apple Jack and Twilightsparkle with additional characters coming available throughout 2014. Transformers plush items will be in the market in early Summer 2014. Luis Benet, in charge of the plush category in Famosa Group, stated: “We
are absolutely thrilled to continue to develop our collaboration with Hasbro which started in 2013 with the Furby plush line launch in the EMEA region, and which has just been extended for transforming some key brands in amazing plush collections including My Little Pony, Mr. Potato Head and Transformers.”
Evolution has announced an agreement with McLaren Group for the global representation rights to the CG animated TV series Tooned. Airing on Sky Sports F1 before the start of Formula 1 races, the show about life at McLaren’s HQ is now entering its third series. The most recent series featured a cast of past and present drivers who all voiced their own characters. It also features Tom Hunt, the eldest son of James Hunt voicing his father, Bruno Senna, the nephew of Ayrton Senna voicing his uncle, and the acclaimed British Actor and comedian Alexander Armstrong as ‘M’. Dave Collins, CEO Evolution Europe, said: “We believe that Tooned
creates a fun way for children to access the world’s leading motorsport company. A combination of McLaren’s expertise, Framestore’s creative vision and Evolution’s ability to take a brand from screen to shelf is a winning formula.”
Jakks Pacifi c to produce Godzilla toys
Jakks Pacifi c has announced its partnership, under a licensing agreement, with WBCP to produce a line of large-scale Godzilla fi gures and other toy products inspired by the upcoming movie. Godzilla is scheduled to premiere on May 16th, 2014. The line of Godzilla products from Jakks is
expected to include an Ultimate Large Scale Godzilla Figure with 12 points of articulation and a length of over 43”. The Godzilla product line from Jakks Pacifi c is expected to be available at major retailers in time for the theatrical release in May 2014. Jack McGrath, chief operating offi cer of Jakks Pacifi c, said: “We are excited
to partner with Warner Bros. Consumer Products once again to bring this world-renowned iconic fi gure to life in our Big Figures line.
