Preview ICE TOTALLY GAMING COMPANY: GLI
STAND NO. S3-330 PRODUCTS: TESTING LABORATORY
Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), is bringing key thought-leaders from its global labs to converge in London for ICE Totally Gaming this month. GLI will be showcasing its worldwide expertise in land-based and iGaming testing, certification and regulation in one united stand. The convergence of GLI’s land- based stand and its iGaming stand from previous ICE shows is analogous to the way the two sides of the gaming industry are converging all around the world.
THE BIGGER THE BETTER

COMPANY: ADVANSYS STAND NO. S9-225 PRODUCTS: MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Slovenia’s premier manufacturer of Online systems, Advansys, reports a successful 2012 in terms of revenue, new market sales and increased market share across its most important existing markets.
At ICE, Advansys will proudly present all available modules of FloorScanner, Integrated Management System for slots and tables and all mayor innovations resulting from 12 months’ intensive development. On the slots side, the company has created its own HD video themes and signs for Mystery Jackpots systems. Customers can choose from three existing themes or order custom video themes with sound and related signage.
On the tables side, Advansys’ developers have integrated SHFL and Abbiati HW with existing Table Management modules. One of most interesting features is the integration of the SHFL Easy Chipper machine with Player Tracking module allowing automated bet collection of all players on american roulette, with 99 per cent accuaracy. To track the number of decks dealt, Advansys has integrated with the SHFL One2Six shuffler and with Abbiati’s american roulette wheels to monitor the spins per hour and all winning numbers.
Another imprtant Advansys innovation is its advanced Texas Hold'em Poker Tournaments Management System, BIG BOSS. It can be used as a stand-alone product or as a module inside the integrated Table Management system. Its Multisite ‘pedigree’ allows the connection of up-to 99 different poker rooms/locations and the creation of extra big ‘Pots’ collected accross all poker rooms. Development engineers succeeded in integrating Poker Clock, Backoffice app, Cash Desk app (including Tickets for Buy-ins and rebuys), enabling smart phones and tablets to manage the tournaments directly from the casino floor in an innovative and easy-to-use way.
Advansys is well known as a flexible and reliable business partner and its system is appreciated for its modularity, scalability, and excellent price-performance ratio. During the last few years new modules have been added and the system has reached a total integration point with different system modules across slots and tables, including third party HW. Taking into account proven Advansys customisation and support ability, the system has evolved into a real IT Ecosystem.
Finally, Advansys next generation solutions with touch screen Player Tracking hardware and new user interfaces will be making their debut at ICE Totally Gaming 2013.
“At previous ICE shows, we have split the team and booth to manage both sectors. Now we are seeing major crossovers and many companies working in both land- based and iGaming, so it’s a logical change to have one booth covering everything that GLI can provide,” said Martin Britton, Managing Director of GLI Europe. “It’s a very interesting time for the gaming market in Europe, where iGaming is expanding, technology is moving forward, the product offering is wider and merging. Plus, iGaming is a hot topic in the US. Having a team of experts who are fully knowledgeable in all sectors gives GLI a great position with suppliers, operators and regulators.”

EVERYTHING THAT GLI CAN PROVIDE.
GLI will have representatives on hand from many of its 20 labs who are thought-leaders in land-based and iGaming testing, certification and regulation. Additionally, GLI Director of Latin American and Caribbean Development Karen Sierra-Hughes will be a featured speaker on Tuesday, 5 Feb. in the session, “Brazil & Argentina: Impact of European Regulatory Developments on Latin iGaming Regulation.”
GLI Compliance Manager Dennis Byram said, “For the past two years or so, in our Roundtables, in tradeshow speaking opportunities, at private seminars, and the like, we have been helping regulators understand that this convergence of the gaming industry is coming, and now that day has arrived. This is a time for operators to carefully examine their casino floors, equipment, systems and marketing strategies to allow for consideration of the convergence that is at hand.”
