Cowe Buildings, Berwick The largest retail
property in the Arch portfolio is Manor Walks Shopping Centre in Cramlington, Northumberland, at 442,802 sq.ft.
built by Arch Developments on the former Kwiksave site in Berwick to accommodate this requirement. An example of an Arch property
restoration is the historic listed Cowes Buildings, situated in Berwick Upon Tweed. These derelict buildings were previously owned by the Cowe family and had previously existed as a cockle shop for generations. In 2012, Arch acquired the buildings and Arch Development Projects Ltd have recently restored one of the buildings in order to bring it back in to use. This property will provide a ground floor
retail unit and residential apartments to the first floor. Arch also have properties and land
within designated Enterprise Zones which offer many benefits to businesses who locate there including business rate relief and enhanced capital allowances allowing businesses to make large investments in plant and machinery. In 2015 Arch constructed Blyth
Workspace which provides serviced offices for a number of companies including those in the renewable energy and offshore wind sector. In 2016 Arch also constructed the award-winning Commissioner's Quay Inn hotel and restaurant, part of the Inn Hotel Collection franchise, situated on the Blyth Quayside. Arch and the Port of Blyth are currently working in partnership on a project called Energy Central, across the Blyth Estuary Renewable Energy Zone. Energy Central consists of strategic development sites across the Blyth Estuary, aimed at businesses in the renewable energy sector. Arch are also currently redeveloping a
