CPP LANDS MAJOR NEW SHEFFIELD PROPERTY MANAGEMENT CONTRACT S


heffield-based property consultancy Commercial Property Partners (CPP) has secured a major new Property Management contract.


The award-winning firm has been instructed to provide a full Property and Facilities Management service at Albion Works in Savile Street, Sheffield, on behalf of landlords IC Innovations, who also occupy the building. The historic, three-storey office building, which is fully let, was built in 1903 and was originally the home of metal dealers Thomas Ward Ltd. IC Innovations bought Albion Works and relocated there at the end of 2015, employing the services of CPP to set and manage a service charge budget for the site.


Matthew Fitzgerald, Partner and Head of Property and Asset Management at CPP, commented: “IC Innovations initially instructed us to advise them on a specific query they had in relation to their responsibilities as a landlord of a multi- tenanted office building. “It became apparent, very early on, that the landlord wanted the building managing


both professionally and to a high standard and they would therefore benefit from out- sourcing the Property and Facilities Management function to CPP.


He added: “It has been refreshing to be involved from the start, working with an open-minded landlord and setting a service charge budget that meets the needs of the property whilst also being value for the money for the tenants.”
