QUORUM CONTINUES LETTINGS SUCCESS O
ver the last 12 months Quorum Business Park in Newcastle has continued a run of new leasing, with take up of over 100,000 sq.ft over the last 12 months, with four new tenants welcomed to the park.
Greggs have relocated their PLC Headquarters to Quorum consolidating a number of office locations in Newcastle into one main HQ location. Greggs have taken the 30,715 sq.ft Q9 building. Fergus Trim, Asset Management Director at Quorum Business Park said ‘Greggs are an outstanding success story, of which the North East is rightly proud, and it is a great coup to get a FTSE headquarters to Quorum.’
Most recently Quorum announced another significant new letting with Sitel moving their Newcastle office to Quorum. Sitel have taken 50,000 sq.ft to accommodate 800 staff in building Q4. This is the largest letting at Quorum since NCFE took the 50,361 sq.ft Q6 building in 2013. Quorum has also had success in the
Lightbox building, launched in April 2015. Connect Physiotherapy were the first tenants in the building taking the whole second floor of 17,061 sq.ft. Their new premises will be Connect’s new headquarters following their relocation

from Cramlington, Northumberland. Northumbria CRC have also taken 5,556 sq.ft of the first floor of the building, for their 65 staff. Nick Hall, Chief Executive of Northumbria CRC said ‘We are pleased to move into new, state of the art facilities at Quorum’. Total headcount at Quorum has risen
accordingly, with now over 6,000 people working at the park. Headcount has grown steadily with over 550,000 sq.ft let since 2009. Retail amenities have also recently improved to cater for the increased workforce, with Greggs taking a new larger unit on Duke’s Walk, the Quorum retail parade.
