orties Industrial Estate in Altens is now fully let after Ryden signed up L & I Eaton for the last remaining unit and agreed a three-year lease extension with BATT Cables. The 450 sq.m (4,843 sq.ft) unit will serve as a central car repair centre for L& I Eaton in Aberdeen and was secured on a five-year lease at rent of £42,500 per annum.

Forties Industrial Estates comprises nine industrial units providing over 63,400 sq.ft. The estate is ideally located two miles south of the city centre and in close proximity to the southern terminus of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route. Matthew Moggach of Ryden said: “Demand for good quality terraced industrial accommodation remains strong in Aberdeen despite current economic difficulties and we’re pleased to have secured full occupancy at Forties Industrial Estate.” Ryden acted on behalf of CBRE Global Investors in the deal.

extension with Lyreco for Unit 9. Matthew Moggach at Ryden commented: “Following this


latest deal, we now only have two units available to let at the well-established industrial park. These units have been extensively refurbished, present extremely well and offer immediate occupation.”
