new modular scroll chillers

delivering tomorrow’s efficiency standards today

Bitzer

Bitzer has updated its tried-and-tested spare parts software, making it even easier for users to fi nd the right spare parts for refrigeration systems.

Philippe Maratuech, director of services and after-sales at Bitzer said: “Our customers should be able to quickly and easily fi nd the spare part they need. That’s part of Bitzer’s global quality standard, which is why we’ve incorporated lots of new functions and optimised existing ones, including regular updating of the integrated data. As a result, users can now always rest assured that current Bitzer solutions are also represented in the system.”

Bitzer’s new EPARTS spare parts software is available to all users free of charge – for the time being in German, English and French. Bitzer EPARTS is thus the ideal complement to the Bitzer Electronics Service Tool (BEST) software, which makes it possible to operate all Bitzer IQ products, as well as Bitzer software, which allows users to tailor systems and components to their individual needs.

Mr Maratuech added: “Thanks to the exploded views and parts list entries in the EPARTS tool, users can quickly fi nd the right parts with ease. Because all exploded views are also vectorised, all images can be enlarged, allowing users to examine even the smallest details online.” www.bitzer.de

Fujitsu

Fujitsu has announced the launch of a new range of high-end R32 Wall Mounted Split Systems. The KG series is a new high-spec range off ering a stylish designer aesthetic and high energy effi ciency. It is available in four sizes: 2.0, 2.5, 3.5 and 4.2kW. The new Fujitsu KG series recently received the ‘Good Design Award 2017’, organised by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion. The prestigious award has been the sole comprehensive design evaluation and commendation system in Japan for 30 years, with the ‘G Mark’ symbol of the award recognised widely as representing excellence in design.

Key features of the KG series include low indoor unit noise levels; a wireless remote controller; a built-in human sensor (PIR) to save energy when no one is in the room; an optional wireless-LAN interface for smartphone or remote PC control; optional external Input/output PCB and communication kits; and a group control facility, so up to 16 systems can be controlled from one remote controller. www.fujitsu-general.com/uk

Johnson Controls

Klima-Therm

Klima-Therm has introduced a new range of Rhoss high effi ciency air-cooled chillers based on the Turbocor magnetic levitating compressor, available in both HFO and HFC refrigerant options.

The TurboPower range, available on short-lead time of just six weeks, covers capacities from 300 to 1100kW on HFC R134a, and an eco- version on HFO 1234ze refrigerant in capacities from 323.2 to 948.6 kW. The chillers are equipped with up to three oil-free Turbocor compressors, and based on one or two cooling circuits, depending on size. A new Rhoss Integrated Sequencer (RIS) enables up to four chillers to be multi-plexed, giving overarching intelligent control, optimising performance and minimising energy consumption. TurboPOWER chillers can be equipped with an innovative inverter- controlled pump which allows systems to be set up with variable primary fl ow, simplifying commissioning and further reducing energy costs.

Johnson Controls has introduced the York Amichi series of chillers and heat pumps with market-leading effi ciency, meeting Ecodesign 2021 standards.

With capacities of 45kW up to 260kW, the units marry the price

benefi t of a scroll chiller with the increased control of a direct current (DC) inverter, resulting in better performance through a wider operating envelope.

York continues to lead the effi ciency frontier with 2021 Ecodesign Tier 2 compliance for process and comfort chillers. This is achieved through an optimised combination of York effi ciency-enhancing technologies available with Amichi chillers. The chiller leads the scroll market in part load effi ciency and the units achieve optimal sound performance with two sound levels to ensure neighbour comfort.

Amichi is a no-compromise solution for a variety of climates and locations, built to deliver better performance through a wider operating envelope, with no kits or add-ons needed. The series comes with integrated Smart Equipment technology that allows the equipment to connect seamlessly to building control systems. www.johnsoncontrols.com
