Welcome to 2018
T
his month’s bumper issue comes at a time when there is a lot happening in the industry. It’s the season for events, such
as our own ACR New Awards and The HVAC & Refrigeration Show, and it’s already shaping up to be a busy year for manufacturers launching products into the market, which is a good sign in terms of confi dence and growth.
There are already debates over whether the UK will continue to follow the EU progression of F-Gas after Brexit, and this month sees a Bill potentially being introduced to reduce the bottleneck of retentions payments. Against a backdrop of wildly increasing gas prices as well as skills and labour shortages, 2018 is already looking to be a year that will keep us all on our toes.
