A refresh refreshed format Registration Stage


To ensure that competitors have been verified and are of a standard to enjoy and benefit fromthe skills competition, a preliminary testmust be carried out by a training provider and scoresmust be submitted at the point of registration.


National competition


Regional heatswill be held fromMay toAugust throughout theUK.Registered compet itorswill complete a series of tasks under strict time schedules and have theirwork assessed by a panel of specially selected industry experts.


The competitor that achieves the highest score nationallywill be crowned theSkillFRIDGENational Winner, andwill be invited to receive their accolade at theBESAAwards inOctober.


WorldSkillsUKNational Final (Eligible competitors)


The seven highest scores fromthe nati ona l competition (subject to being eligible underWSUK guidelines)will be invited to compete at the WorldSkillsUKSkillsShowinNovember. The highest scoring competitor during the


WorldSkillsUKfinalwill be presentedwith a trophy and their respective training providerwill receiv e
