Of the 67 little gulls were recorded in the East Anglia THREE site and 4km buffer, 42 were recorded sitting on the water and 25 were observed flying (Table 5.22). Of the flying birds, four (16%) were recorded flying at potential collision height (Table 5.22).

The set of data on this species is limited and a single rose diagram from across all months (noting that observations only occurred in March to May and September) is presented in Appendix G. The predominant flight direction for little gull is either north easterly or south easterly direction.
