APPENDIX E: SPECIES-SPECIFIC BIO-GEOGRAPHICAL POPULATION ESTIMATES AND 1% THRESHOLDS FOR BIRDS RECORDED WITHIN THE EAST ANGLIA THREE SITE
Appendix E presents the collated data on the abundance estimates for the most numerous species recorded within the East Anglia THREE Site for each bio-season (Table 5.1) and compares these abundances against the regional, national and international 1% population thresholds for each species in order to define the importance of the abundance with regards to each population scale. Table 5.2 and 5.3 present the importance levels of East Anglia THREE bird abundances during the breeding & wintering seasons and spring & autumn migration seasons, respectively. Where a species reaches the 1% threshold for any of the three population scales it is highlighted in the colour representing that particular bio-season.
