iCore version 2.0 is a major upgrade which includes three years of improvements from existing clients that have differentiated their offering through iCore’s open innovation approach. Te main focus of the new version has been on player engagement, as well as mobile channel and sportsbook support.

Marketing Manager Sara Rotter explained that whilst the gamification concepts were already introduced last year when ‘Universal Free Spins’ were released, they were now a part of a bigger Award Games suite, an extension of the iCore innovative Bonusing system.

“Tis is iCore’s first major improvement since it was released three years ago,” she said. “We’ve made it more suitable for websites with a lot of traffic and have added the Award Games Suite which allows operators to reward players with bonuses via attractive games, such as dice throwing and free spins, instead of the traditional ‘deposit match’ bonuses. Players are immediately rewarded during mobile or desktop game play increasing customer loyalty.”

With 2.0 version, mobile became the prevailing channel, which means that new features are initiated on mobile first and later replicated to other channels as e13.

As a generic open platform, iCore is integrated to leading 3rd party content providers. Central bonusing and other value-added features of iCore depend on the quality of these integrations, and within 2.0 Comtrade brought the support for sports betting systems one level higher. While adding a lot of player engagement features that run in real time, a great deal of effort has been additionally spent on system performance optimisations to make sure that iCore’s enterprise level performance has not been compromised and is suitable for most traffic intense sites.

Combining the gCore, the platform that allows quick game development and the WebGL and

HTML5 technology, Comtrade Gaming can engage players through bonusing games, such as dice throwing and free spins.

On the land-based side, their sCore is connecting the EGM terminals to a central server, from where they can be monitored and configured in real time. Tis year a new and improved auditor and player tracking app will be shown.

Comtrade has teamed up with names such as Virtual games specialist Kiron Interactive who recently signed a deal to offer its full suite of games. Using its recently launched Betman Online RGS solution, Kiron has made its portfolio available to Comtrade’s sports betting and casino clients on an omni-channel basis via their iCore gaming platform. Comtrade has also tied in with Ainsworth and Amatic.

Sara Rotter highlighted two case studies that perfectly exemplify Comtrade’s work. Te company has long been associated with the Austrian government where it connects every machine in Austria to the Austrian federal Computing Centre. Last summer, its sCore G2S engine successfully upgraded WinWin’s gaming machines, which had been running live in Austria since the start of 2015. WinWin is part of the Casinos Austria Group and currently operates 14 outlets with 641 terminals. Comtrade Gaming’s sCore technology enabled WinWin to meet Austrian legislation requirements, where the operator’s gaming machines have to communicate with the federal system via the Gaming Standards Association’s G2S protocol. Comtrade now connects over 15,000 electronic gaming machines and video lottery terminals in Austria’s casino and street venues.

On the online side, it has completed some impressive work with Genting Alderney, a UK online casino operator. Comtrade Gaming’s iCore Enterprise Gaming Platform immediately allowed Genting a multi supplier, multichannel offering all via a seamless central wallet.
