TCSJohnHuxley Completes the Circle at ICE
Gaming Floor Live was once again the centrepiece of TCSJohnHuxley’s table management presentation at ICE 2016 - but this time the company had put a spoke in their wheel - or more accurately, seven spokes.
Having already established itself as the core into which all of the company’s individual products can be interconnected, GFL Platform Modules consists of a suite of modular products that allow complete real-time visibility and total control of data to be drawn from every aspect of the gaming table.
Built as a modular system, Gaming Floor Live is scalable and allows operators to build their own table management platform using varying combinations of GFL’s seven modules. Like building blocks, operators are able to add as many modules as they desire onto their base platform, in order to suit their unique needs. A few of the modules have been available for some time, such as Optimisation, Bonusing and Media, however, this was the first time visitors were able to see all the GFL modules sitting collectively on the platform.
Tristan Sjöberg, TCSJohnHuxley Executive Chairman commented, “We’ve developed our ‘Build Your Own’ table management platform because we understand that every casino is different. Whilewe could have created a ‘one size fits all’ platform, we knew it wouldn’t work, as the needs of one operator may not match those of another. Our Gaming Floor Live platforms are custom built for operators, designed specifically to suit their unique budget, size and requirements. To ensure our customers get what they want from the GFL platform, we’ve got a range of modules to pick and choose from. Tis flexibility means it is possible to operate with as little as one module on one connected table, right up to an infinite number of tables leveraging all modules, allowing casinos of every size to reap the benefits of having real-time visibility and total control over their gaming floor.”
Te modules that make up Gaming Floor Live are:
GFL OPTIMISATION– Optimises live tables and game speeds, highlighting areas and processes
that can be improved upon in real-time.
GFL BONUSING- A floor-wide progressive and game bonusing system for use on any live table game.
GFL MEDIA- A media and display system where content can be altered, scheduled and configured from a central point and sent to any display connected to the platform.
GFL GAMING- Play live casino tables through a fixed or portable terminal from any licensed area in the casino.
GFL INTERFACE– Offers integration with third party products and systems.
GFL REPORTING– Enhanced custom reporting based on data gathered from each module. (Coming Soon)
GFL ANALYTICS – Allows the platform to analyse real-time data and provide the operator with live recommendations to enhance performance. (Coming Soon)
In addition to the modular elements of GFL, the star of the exhibit, with a large portion of the TCSJohnHuxley stand devoted to it, was the GFL Gaming module TCSJohnHuxley displayed its technical ingenuity and sense of fun at ICE, offering a novel gaming cabana, complete with day-bed and huge gaming screen that became a massive talking point on the stand. Additional GFL Gaming options boasted tethered tablets that make installation within casino locations much less complicated in terms of regulatory requirements. GFL Gaming is a best of all worlds option, allowing tablet functionality without the headache of roaming issues.
Using compact fixed or portable touchscreen gaming terminals that enable live casino table play, GFL Gaming increases the number of player positions on the gaming floor, which can often be limited by seating constraints or dealer
resources. It also appeals to more discreet players, such as VIPs or newcomers, by offering a more private gaming experience on individual terminals.
With this module, casinos are able to transform small, previously under-utilised licensed areas into revenue generating spaces. Perfect for use in licensed areas away from the gaming floor, such as bars, restaurants and smoking zones, this solution mimics a private virtual gaming experience while continuing to provide the exciting casino atmosphere players love.
Visitors to ICE were able to experience a variety of GFL Gaming configurations designed to cater to every casino and players’ need, as well as appealing to all ages and demographics. At the touch of the screen, players can select from various live tables, swapping between Roulette, Baccarat and Sicbo, all with the same intuitive user interface; this eases navigation and enables ease of play from game to game.
Configurations that were showcased highlighted the flexibility of the range, from the space saving six-player tablet table with integrated Saturn Auto roulette wheel, to an eight-player table incorporating a 55ins. communal betting display, showing all bets being placed.
Visitors were also able to see a bar-top solution where the fixed terminal has a bill acceptor, drop box and ticket printer enabling easy crediting so players can enjoy their favourite live games whilst being served drinks at the bar. As previously mentioned, the GFL Gaming suite also included the show-stopping Gaming Cabana – a concept day bed set up, perfect for poolside or nightclub environments (depending on regulations) and designed with millennial gamers in mind.
Tristan Sjöberg, TCSJohnHuxley Executive Vice Chairman commented: “Te GFL Gaming module is the perfect live gaming solution for operators as it’s compact and extremely flexible, allowing play from any licenced area in the casino, while still delivering essential requirements, such as security and real-time reporting. Te innovative options displayed at ICE illustrate how players are able to enjoy the excitement of playing their favourite live games, in more social and communal environments – a key feature for today’s gamers.”
