Review ICE TOTALLY GAMING 2016

Spintec completes Karma line for roulette, Sico Bo, and baccarat

Spintec’s CEO, Igor Lombar at ICE

Spintec was at ICE presenting new solutions for multi-player dice games with the launches of Karma Sic Bo

Igor Lombar, the CEO of Spintec, told us: “Feedback from ICE 2016 proved that the automation of all live games combined with our unique R&D approach has been the right step for Spintec. Tere was a tremendous buzz around our automated Sic Bo, with decision makers congratulating us what they said was the most technologically advanced Sic Bo machine on the market.

“For example, our proprietary mechanics integrated into the Karma Automated Sic Bo considerably decreases the possibility of the annulment of the outcome as it stops dice being placed on top of each other or over the border,” he said. “Increasing the number of valid outcomes per hour translates into player satisfaction and more income for the casino.”

Te group was also launching Karma Virtual Baccarat with HD live footage of different croupiers. A interesting innovation is the peek scanner that shows the card only partially when the card is drawn from the card shoe. Mr. Lombar added that Karma Multigame was also generating plenty of interest among visitors at ICE as it allows the combination of different games and technologies in one setting. “All our new products presented at ICE are distinguished from those of our competitors by the promise of longer gaming sessions,” he explained.

In the closing weeks of 2015, Spintec won a trial invitation in Uruguay where it achieved twice the performance of its competitors’ roulette systems. HRU, owner of Maroñas Entertainment; the biggest chain of gambling halls in Uruguay, organised the trial which involved some of the major European roulette suppliers at its slot hall in Montevideo Shopping Center. A joint committee said that Spintec’s Karma Roulette achieved the highest profit and technical performance on the gaming floor. Spintec said: “Te South American Market is the latest of the markets, following Macau, Netherland, Spain, Ireland, Philippines, India, where Karma Roulettes received best feedback from players and casinos in the market.”

P48 NEWSWIRE / INTERACTIVE / 247.COM Aruze’s David Meacher and Albert Yu showing Virtual Roulette Aruze Boosts European Sales Team

Te continued success of Aruze Gaming in markets such as Portugal and France has seen it become a ‘reel’ force to be reckoned with in European slots

Te unveiling at ICE of David Meacher as the company’s new Director of Business Development for Europe sees Aruze Gaming looking to cement many more deals over the coming year. Mr. Meacher brings 20 years of experience on the operations side of the business, having worked for several leading casino groups in Central and Eastern Europe.

Aruze Gaming’s Albert Yu said: “We’re delighted to welcome David onboard at this year’s ICE. He has a wealth of experience and contacts stretching across two decades that we feel will be really beneficial to Aruze as we look to push into new markets. Our sales into the French casino sector have really benefitted from our distribution deal with Daniel van Marrising’s Mascot SFM acting as our distributor there. We’ve proved that European players want our products and now we’re hoping David can open doors in many of the markets in which he has such an expert knowledge.”

Aruze’s most recent deal in France has seen a bank of Players’ Party machines installed into Lucien Barrière’s Casino de Deauville in Northern France.

“Te bank only went live in early January, but the feedback from the operator has been excellent,” Mr Yu explained. “We were very impressed with how the group marketed the arrival of Players’ Party both prior to and then for the launch with footprints taking players to the new bank. Tey have been very happy with the performance and the fact that it brings something different to the French slot sector.”

Te six-station, third generation, G-Link communal video game has attracted French players with its five bonus events; Black or Red, Roll the Dice, High/Low, lucky Numbers and of course the big wheel itself Fun Wheel. Also looking to bring something different is

Aruze’s Virtual Roulette product. “Te European market is rife with all manner of automated roulette products manufactured by many different groups,” Mr. Yu explained.

“We realised that if we wanted to enter this sector we really would have to bring something different to the market. Virtual Roulette uses a projector to simulate the popular game but allows us to bring a host of completely unique side games conducted in vibrant colour. Te projection of the roulette wheel can be replaced with energetic scene changes depending on game play and information accessed. It can show a countdown to no more bets, even with the possibility of displaying the casino’s logo or it can advertise an event or promotion. New features include player interaction in shooting the ball and a thrilling Progressive Jackpot side game. Players can play for a Mega, Major or Mini progressive jackpot. It’s perfect for beginners, but still challenging enough for experienced players.”

Aruze has also recently released its Cube-X Ultimate games, which are distinctly different, with physical reels that are lit up with vibrant colours and a glorious topper. Included in this series is Te Gold Legend, part of the 999.9 Gold Wheel Series featuring a large mechanical wheel. Players have to collect 10 Gold Bars after which they can enjoy seven prize selections on the Gold Wheel for the Free Games. Also being released was Bags of Cash, 5 reel, 30-line stepper slot game, again with a Gold Wheel to spin a prize amount.

Te Jungle Cash Series is a linked progressive on the Cube-X platform for the proven Ultra Stack video Series bringing a whole new beast into the casino gaming world. Tis series is brought to life with the following themes: Ultra Stack Beauty in Te Wild, Ultra Stack Big 5 and Ultra Stack Bison II.
