There are a total of 165,448 slots in the UK market. The B2 with 34,616 are third behind D amusement/machines (60,223) and C machines 51,312. However revenue for the B2 category supersedes all the other categories and in 2013- 2014 saw a GGR of £1.5bn of the total €2.5bn for all categories together.

Remote gambling defined by the Gambling Act 2005 includes internet, telephone, television, radio and any other electronic betting device.
It is made up of high street bookmakers offering online gambling to large remote only operators and smaller betting operators. They offer Fantasy football, remote pool betting, bingo and casino online games.
At the end of 2014 there were 277 remote gambling licences held by 200 operators and of these 100 are for gambling software licences, 43 general betting (real events), 11 general betting (virtual events), 46 pool betting, 24 general telephone betting, 27 for casinos, eight for betting intermediary (trading room), nine for betting intermediary and nine for bingo.
The turnover for the remote betting sector amounted to £25.6bn with a GGR of £980.4m last year.
