Nature of Science
In this chapter we have explored energy sources. Demand for energy is increasing due to population growth and economic development. Producing enough energy to meet demand in a way that does not damage the environment is a major problem facing the world. Understanding how energy is produced and appreciating the problems associated with each method is very important. It helps us to form an informed opinion on how energy demands should be met now and in the future. Question: Why is it important that we carry out research and make our own decisions about issues such as energy production?
